WHAT ARE THE CABINS AND SURROUNDINGS LIKE?

The cabins are nestled in the west central mountains of the state of WV in a rural area. Each is for a single person occupancy. They are simple but well insulated and equipped with electric, plumbing and kitchen facilities where you can prepare and eat your meals.

The Surroundings: There is a small a small country farm house that contains laundry facilities and a phone for necessary calls. Books and tapes are located here for retreatants use.

A spacious but elegantly simple chapel in the woods which contains the Blessed Sacrament. It is a straw bale structure, that is warm in winter and cool in summer. For those who desire it there is a daily meditation hour, followed by evening prayer and Eucharist.

There are no structured programs. The gift of this place is the space for just "being."
