mountains are available to those who desire
time and space to be alone with the Alone
in the stillness of nature.

hermitage is a unique place to seek God's
Face and intercede for our needs, and those
of our brothers and sisters whose lives
might be caught up in a frenetic pace. |

The
strawbale chapel, containing the Blessed
Sacrament is available for Eucharistic participation,
adoration and for praying communally, the
Liturgy of the Hours. |
Handloom
weaving and free lance writing coupled with
a day or two a week ministering to our rural/aged
poor are means of ministry and support.

This
is a Franciscan place where contemplative
prayer, simplicity of life, manual labor
and openness to others are the major themes.
